VENICE

First stop is Venice, Italy
What Beauty... I couldn't stop taking pictures.
I was fascinated how people live over here, way up on the second, third, fourth and fifth floors of these 'floating' buildings.

No motorized vehicles in the area we were in, just boats or water taxi's.

This was in front of someones home or flat, you have no yard and I thought this is what my front door would look like if I lived here.

This is Saint Marco Square, and there was some shopping to do here !

I love this photo, we ate at a cute little restaurant that sat right on the water. We enjoyed the sunset as much as our food.

Graduating progress !!

The Pieces are finally coming together for this 'Graduating Senior' All 35 squares are done and getting crochet to become one! Haven't even started the second one yet.....well I did start one but it kept looking like a baby blanket instead of an Eighteen year olds!!! So it went in the closet of 'decide what to do with this at a nother time'!! But I do have new yarn and will be crocheting (with a large hook) the second blanket so that will go much faster. i hope i hope i hope :))

So what do you think of the blanket so far??? Can you see the traveling tan bars?

So has it disturbed you that I haven't been posting very often??? well that is thanks to FACEBOOK !!!

My Precious little squirrel friend, Sammi has passed away :( :( :(


Here is the last photo I have of her, Coming up my leg for some Corn. I truly enjoyed her, interaction with her put the biggest smile on my face and brightened my day SO much. I would constantly talk about her and tell everyone her cute little antics. Heavy sigh........

I have been trying to stay away from starting anything new, due to knitting gifts that I was wanting to finish by a certain date.......well we all know how THAT goes....I hate when I over commit.

So I cut back, cut short and pulled the PLUG!

The recipients won't miss what they never knew they were maybe gonna get!

Whew...the weight has been lifted off...

released...........now it's floating away........
