That Phase is Over......heavy sigh....

First let's start off with a moment of Peace ....... please, just for me ....... I have really needed it.

Ok, so the bedroom has been in shambles for a little over a week,

everything shoved to one corner or another. Purl as loved it,

finding new places to lounge, jumping from one place to another.

Prancer thought it was always time to play ball and almost dropped

her tennis ball into the tray of paint a couple of times! Poor neglected

animals..... not really, Prancer had spa time today, she got a lovely bath

and I trimmed her up, she gets soooo relaxed during her pampering.

My least fav part of painting is the taping part. I wish I could hire a Taper, so if it happened to leak through I could blame them. See all my blue tape?

I just did get help moving the furniture and had to stage the camera in the bathroom in order to get this action photo taken!!

AAAAHHHH ........ heaven awaits!!!!!! Do you love it????

I am very pleased with it. WHY did I wait 8 years to do this?

I added two more green accent walls by the bay windows, you see one of them in the picture below. I love my green walls

June Get-Away

I started my awesome weekend with my Friday Knitting Group. We meet every week and have been for a little over a year now. The picture below is missing about 5 other gals, during the summer its harder for all of us to get together and I heard someone sprained her wrist! (Donna, we are hoping for a speedy recovery for you!)

I just returned from a 2 day get away!! I stayed at a local hotel, had a lovely massage, watched HGTV all day (now I am gonna REALLY re-paint my bedroom!). I did a little knitting, did a little more beading, did a lot more reading, did a whole lot of sleeping :)

I bought myself flowers so the room would smell lovely!! I love the cube vase, it is so non-traditional, just like me!!

I did manage to take a little walk for 'scenic sake' and came across this cute little babbling pond. I wish I could miniaturize myself and float along its winding path.

Can you guess what this is?

It's the roots of a tree!

This was taken from my hotel room window, that is my van, and that is my car's Tude !!! so watch out.....

On the way home I stopped at Home Depot and got some paint samples, so the master bedroom is going to be finally loosing its pink walls and going to Oriental Silk. yyeeeeaahhh!!! Which will match the green accent wall I painted last year soooo much better...god I am lazy. Of course I will be the only one painting the huge room ....all by myself.

Here is a big area painted with one coat, jeez I couldn't wait to test it out. See how ungodly the pink looked with the green wall....and I LOVE my green wall! So tomorrow I will do all the walls I can ,moving the furniture that weighs less than 150lbs! We have 3 very heavy pieces! I have a lot of taping ahead of me...4 windows and 3 doors.

Last time I bought this wacky shaped orange basket, (only pd $12) love the
handle. Of course I filled it, with about
3 or 4 projects worth of yarn.

This time I found this collapsible canvas box with handles, (pd $10, this time) it is an 8 inch square and it stands up on its own quite nicely. It just so happens to be the exact size to hold the squares i am knitting for another secret project, I need about 35 squares. Don't be guessing, now !!

Well, my Brother told me my surprise flower is a Japanese Iris ! Imagine that, in my Idaho rock garden, no wonder it was embarrassed to bloom! But with all the attention I gave it I am sure he will be proud and ready for his photo opp again next spring.

And for my Brother guessing and winning the secret contest I had going, I am going to hop on a plane in August and go visit him!!!! yyyeeeaaaa!!!

Second runner up, was my Step-Mom, for guessing Siberian Iris! She will also get a visit in August!!!!!!

You just never know what will happen over here at knitterjittermom, huh???

Officially Summer

The cute little pink number hasn't won my heart over yet, so that project is on back burner...bad yarn :(


My beautiful Peonies are bursting all over. Their fragrance is so captivating. It also brings me right back to childhood, my Mom used to have some. I remember ants all over them, you could never bring them into the house for that reason. But I am able to enjoy these inside now?? Dont know why...




Has anyone figured out what kind of bulbs these are?
